Color Line AS is the largest cruiseferry line operating on routes to and from Norway. The company is also one of the leading operators in Europe. Color Line provides transportation for people and cargo, hotel accommodation, shopping, restaurants and entertainment. The company currently employs 3500 people in four countries.
Worker (Former Employee) says"Workers were reviewed based on performance of meeting quotas. There is a average that you have to meet daily and it also effect your raises as well. No cross training unless you exceed the average that is expected in that dept. The hardest thing about working there was you have to be very, very fast in order for you to be train on other areas. Its good for short term job but not something for a long term career. Everything is based on your average/numbers that you have to meet in that dept. A lot of pressure with the numbers and you are expected to be super quick meeting numbers/quotas, otherwise they let you go. The average of meeting those numbers were extremely high and too much to deal with. The long hours were a bit of stretch given the fact that you are stuck working on one area the whole entire time and no advancing in other areas. Cons: Long hours, no advancement, no to little cross training, and high expectation on the quotas."
Shipper/Receiver (Former Employee) says"This was by far the worst company I've ever worked for. The employee's and the managers provide no help, whatsoever. The pay was terrible and the work was worse."
Order Puller (Former Employee) says"Fabricut was an order pulling job so it was fast paced and busy. However, the people including management were not the best people to work with. They made the job harder than it seemed. Cons: Did not get paid well"

Cons: Can't stick with a decision, Too many stake holders outside of their expertise"
Dock Worker/Forklift Operator (Current Employee) says"Workers would constantly show up drunk, managers did not show any sign of correcting any of this. Constant fights. Drug use was prominent as well as safety violations. Only a few workers actually worked while others either wouldn't show up or refused to work."

I don't truly feel they want to see you advance and succeed, even though they tell you in the interview the promote within and that they are creating more flexible schedules. There is always someone from other departments trying to tell you how to do your job that they have nothing to do with. Cons: Not good work culture"
